The reason why we recommend this headset is due to its cost and how easy it is to set up. It’s also a wireless headset, making it easier to wear and to transport to a friend's house, and as said before, is easy to set up, making it the perfect way to let family members and friends try out VR for maybe the first time. The reason why the Quest 2 is so sought after is due to its price, standing at a fair price of 300$. When comparing the Quest 2 to other VR headsets, it’s easy to see why so many people want the Quest 2

 

 

Other VR headsets

Other VR headsets out there such as the Valve Index, HTC Vive and so many more, can definitely outshine the Quest in performance, but with that comes a hefty price. For either the Valve Index or the HTC Vive pro 2, you are looking at a whopping price of around 1000$. Don’t be alarmed at this, seeing as these headsets are more for either intermediate users, users who are looking for more performance. Or for people that really don’t care about the price.
